OKRs
Objectives are set for a year and in order to manage them during the year, we use the concept of OKRs, where the Objectives of the OKRs are identical with the SMART Objectives. This means every SMART Objective has 1-3 Key Results defined for each quarter. This is especially helpful with qualitative measurements, where we can’t get number to measure progress.
We use OKRs in connection with the Lean Startup Cycle.

- Ideas: What can we do to achieve the KRs for the next quarter?
- Build: Let’s do it
- Product: Outcome of our activities
- Measure: Evaluate KRs for last quarter
- Data: How did we do last quarter?
- Learn: Did we make progress towards our objectives?
The last quarter is different as it includes a review of the past year and setting of new objectives for the next year.
