As an example, for the implementation of a business solution using Digital Twins, it is not an exception to have a 2-digit number of different software products from many different vendors used across Edge, Cloud, On-Premise and On-Asset. This makes the deployment of solution components challenging, as every software vendor usually has their own, proprietary approach and tool for deployment. DevOps pipelines and container technologies helps, but management of the different containers is still challenging in a heterogeneous environment.
What?
The Digital Solution Deployment Platform can help organizations manage the complexity of solution deployment with a cross-technology stack deployment platform that uses container technology and is hence ideal for heterogeneous environments. More and more standard software vendors are supporting containers and developing your own container-based software component has become easy, so having a solution for an integrated deployment and management of containers creates efficiencies in solution roll-out and operations.
How?
The DSDP is based on the software of our partner Portainer.IO.
We can combine it with the I2A2P and SDCP offerings to really support the design and implementation of complex, end-to-end Industry 4.0 use cases and solutions and push the envelope of software development productivity, as well as overall end-to-end solution quality.
